The whole Boston Rob incident today seemed fake, fake, fake.

That might be the exact moment one of my all-time favorite shows jumped the shark.

Wow. James is a f**king prick. Good job for Stephanie taking that lashing like a champ. I'm not so sure I would have done the same. In fact, I probably would have called him a lot of things, most unpleasant.

Anyone else finding it hard, no, impossible, to root for the heroes? I like Colby but I'm kind of over him and I loved Rupert in his first season but now he's kind of stale.

Rupert is nothing more than Grover on Sesame Street. Boring. I agree that the Rob episode today seemed lame and fake. Then James goes off today. In one week, I've gone from I'm excited as hell about this show to thinking "overrated."

Man, James is in favor of one voice. He might have mentioned it a couple times.

Yeah, I kind of got the sense it was something that happens to the majority of them out there at some point. He was probably dehydrated and not feeling too slick and they played it up for the previews like there was something seriously wrong with him, because they know how popular he is.

During my five-hour plane ride with Big Tom, he said almost every person there asks to see the nurse or doctor on a daily basis because they would give them bottled water and ibuprofen. I was thinking of that when they showed Rob's deal.

Other than that, I loved last night's episode. James was a dick, but he made a pretty good point. With them losing challenges, the "Heroes" would be pretty stupid to get rid of their strongest player.

Never liked Stephenie. Thrilled Amanda is still around.

James is taking Jules Whitfield's wallet rather seriously.
It's the guys who seem amiable on first impression that do the most damage when they lose it.

I thought Tom was pretty condescending to James at tribal council, which surprised me, but then I remembered that he and Stephenie were close in a previous season.

If I were Stephenie, I would have stood up and said "Hey, you know what guys? I came here expecting to vote for Amanda but, clearly, this asshole has got to go. He's talking to me like this today but, tomorrow, it will be you."

When they're getting their asses kicked in physical challenges, there's no way they get rid of James, Colby or Tom until just before the merger.

The editor in me gained a lot of respect for Candice because she was the only one to spell Stephenie's name correctly.

Yeah but neither of the last two immunity challenges have come down to the physical aspect. It's all been about puzzle solving/communication and, if there's one thing Survivor has shown, it's not always physicality that wins you the prize. Voting James off might hurt from a physical standpoint but I think the benefits of a tribe united far outweigh the costs of a tribe divided.

Oh, and by the way, the Villains tribe isn't exactly comprised of body builders either. Apart from Russell and maybe Boston Rob, I don't think they've got much going on strength wise.
