Swine flu 2009

I just heard someone from the SG's office on FoxNews say that 95 percent of the people that will get this will not die. Yet the hysteria is phenomenal. And so, likely, will be the Obama spending machine.

 

All in all it's just another hog to the wall.

The pigs are pissed cause they thought they were fairly safe in Egypt.

 

That is the "official" reason.
The real reason is it fears losing A.D.A state money if they stay open and the parents get scared and keep their kids at home because neighboring districts close.
FWISD found out they would not lose ANY money by closing, therefore, to avoid, as an example, a 60 percent attendance day where they would lose 40 percent of that day's ADA funding (and that figure would rise each day for awhile) they made a fiscal decision to close. That hasn't been reported yet, but people I know who have been in the school biz for decades explained to me that this is the reason. BTW, I also covr the local ISD as well as sports.
