Good in depth story of Muslims in Toronto--there are about 250,000 here including 75,000 from Somalia, the largest number in any country outside Africa.

This means in Toronto, you can find people practising an Islam that is moulded by Albanian culture in one mosque -- saying an additional set of prayers roughly comparable to saying Catholic rosaries, with men and women praying together -- while in mosques with a predominantly Indo-Pakistani congregation women pray separately, sequestered from the men.

There are also variances in the way different Muslims practice religion and interpret and follow the words of the Koran.

Thought this might be of interest to the big brains like Dammit.

    Not fair, JR.

Dammit is only after bad Muslims. ... or people who look like them.

Guerilla warfare - the same type that's frustrating Israel right now. Bastards that like chameleons change colors or uniforms and "suddenly disappear" as the Lebanese soldiers post up in southern Lebanon? The same warfare that bogged the Soviets down in Afghanistan? That's right. And you can't fight it by being sitting ducks. As long as we were raining hell on these people, they were running for cover. You have to continue to rain hell on them until you eradicate every hole the cockroaches hide in. Collateral damage are the unfortunates that don't get out of the way, and a chunk of blame goes to the governments that continue to support them.

Well I think the puppet Kerry did what his master wanted him to do and now, it's up to a Congress that has shown a lack of guts to reject this deal in Israel's behalf. Or, you'll have all that eventually happening to Israel. And I'm sure there will be a strongly worded condemnation sent by email when it happens.

How long before we're doomed? So far it's been nine years.
