PD, it won't work unless you do it for yourself -- not your mother, not stupid, retarded boys. I know, I've been there.

What's wrong with stupid, retarded boys?

    Besides the obvious?

I don't think Paper Doll wants a stupid retard boy anyway.

I wish I were an expert on weight mangement, but I'mnot so I won't offer too much advise other than to ride a bike or roller blade or walk a lot. It's hard to gain weight when you're moving, easy when you're sitting.

Other than the fact they make you feel like shit for not looking like Jessica Biel?

Just wanted to vent. Last week I had some of the very best workouts in years. I felt vigorous, my tee shirts were soaked with sweat, and I felt like Hercules.

This week, blah. I had to rush through mine on Monday early in the morning, and wasn't exactly motivated the last two days. No cardio either, just weights and jump rope. I've fallen back in love with jumping rope the last couple of weeks, to the point where trainers in the gym know me as that guy who jumps rope on the basketball court, and it's the only thing I do that makes me feel like I've really worked out.

I'm taking tomorrow off for Good Friday, and to rest what's been a tired body this week anyway. But Saturday and Sunday I hope to go balls to the wall again. And if I'm lucky, I'll get to bone Jessica Biel after one of those workouts.

Don't make me get my mother in here. ('Darling, I know you like to be thin, but does it make your bosom look smaller? Do you think your Boom likes a smaller bosom on you? You know, I lost five pounds when I was pregnant with you, did I tell you that, dear? Do you want a bagel?')

The hard truth is you have to want it enough to at least try. How's your eating? Can you schedule a 1/2 hour three times a week to move your body? Twice a week? Can you pick two things in your diet that you know are bad, and cut them out? Do that for three weeks, with the minimal exercise. and see how you feel. If you're doing nothing now, you'll see results fast if you do anything. It sucks, but it feels so great when it works....

Well, there is always the cosmetic surgery route.

A professor told me no one can make you believe anything negative about yourself without your permission.

Or just not dating the stupid, retarded boys. There are decent ones out there. They just lack tattoos and such, I'm sure :D

(Plus needles and sugery scare me.)

Well, at least you didn't accept that kind of heretical thinking from someone without a Ph.D.

And your prof quoted Eleanor Roosevelt. Take heart, ladies.

I've been going through a rought stretch lately. Strained adductor, knee pain, shoulder pain.
I've shut myself down for the rest of the rugby season because I've had too many injuries (nothing huge, but a lot of nagging staff) and my fitness level just doesn't seem to be improving, though I keep working at it
