Anyone wanna trade? I'm hankering for some down-low greasy-ass fried chicken.

Get a bike or treadmill. Those are staples. We used our previous treadmill for 12 years before replacing it in January. I was a proud papa today watching Dick Jr. use it.

On another note, very treacherous few days coming up for me. Super Bowl tomorrow and then four days skiing with the fellas in Colorado next week - and hitting the resort bars after.

Waist was down to 32.5 this morning, best in a few years. Then I ran 18 miles at an 8:29 pace. I’m spent, but I have to get this damn house party-ready.

Today was just a slow, steady run. :)

The gym opens at 8 on Sunday, which sucks, because I have to open the gallery at 9. So I do only 40 minutes.

That said, I was inspired by Dickie's little run yesterday and went all 40 minutes on the treadmill at 15-incline.

First 20 minutes was 4.0 to warm up.

Next 10 minutes was at 4.2 to rev it up a bit.

Last 10 minutes was at 4.5, which is pretty good pace.

Burned 1,007 calories. My waist is still nowhere near Dickie's pixie stick waist of 32.5.

I think waist is kind of a flawed measurement for men. It is for me, anyway. Between 177 and 240 pounds, I've worn a 32 to a 34. I'm 215 right now and comfortably wear a 33. I guess it depends on how you carry your weight, but my waist hardly changes.

Today is gonna suck. I'll be eating constantly. Maybe I should do a push-up game for the Super Bowl.

    10 for a field goal
    25 for a TD
    15 for a safety.

100 for every slurp* of The 40-year-old MVP.

    * determine slurp at your own discretion.

I'm a 29. It's a very flawed measurement. My idea of a good run is 3 miles at a 7:20 pace. And I hate even doing that. The idea that people do this for an hour or two every day --- and enjoy it --- is mind-boggling.

    I still have a little gut. I’m only 5-9.

Inspired by Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles (lol) ... 80 minutes, 1,560 calories
