    Hahaha :D

I grunt, but not like ear splittlingly so the rest of the gym can hear it. It's healthy to grunt a bit when lifting a lot of weight.

I know that guy. He works out at the Gold's Gym in Destin, Fla. I had a fun time watching him. Got nothing accomplished, but flossed like he was Magnus Samuelsson on the car tow.

PaperDoll will probably give me a hard time about it, because I still haven't invested in a cell phone, but I think there might be a Soloflex in Johnny_Dangerously's future ...

Does anyone know where to get one of those yellow wristbands to fight cancer? I've searched but can't seem to locate one and I don't want to go to eBay.
I think it's a great idea to make people aware and also raise money for a good cause.

I ordered a pack from the Lance Armstrong Foundation website... http://www.laf.org/

Guys: This story on Dan Abrams' bout with testicular cancer reminded me that this thread was started after the death of WPIX reporter Sean Kimerling, of the same disease, one year ago.

Take care of yourselves. If something seems wrong, get it checked.

Are there any books or programs that anyone here thinks are particularly good?

A good number of people I know swear by Body For Life. I don't know what exactly it involves but it's a combination of diet and exercise. Perhaps it might be worth a look.

Besides, I figured one more recent post might be enough to keep this topic stuck.

If you could get past the hype about the myoplex shakes, Body for Life is pretty good. The workouts are short and intense, 20 minutes cardio and 45 minutes weights three times a week for each. The meals are evenly split between carbs and protein.
The only issue most people I know have with BFL is that the guy who wrote it owns (or used to own) a supplement company.

Anyone know of a good workout/diet plan other than Body for Life?

Rusty, pick up Men's Health. They seem to have a new workout plan in just about every issue. They've put out several books as well.

Men's Health has some good programs and the books are usually pretty good. I just find that "guy talk" that the magazine and its books are written in to be a little condescending.
