I tried Orange Theory. The class was packed here. It's fun, but I'm finding walks, martial arts, yoga, and time on home equipment seems to be more my thing.

The weather is to blame for my bathroom looking like a Memphis Voodoun and Josiah the Beet Farmer have moved in: frankincense and myrrh oil, Rawleigh's, Himalaya Balm, and McNess. I used the last one on my horse when I was a middle-schooler. He loved me for it. Now I understand why. Only thing is, it smells like I've been retooling the John Deere on the back forty.

Another week with 250 laps in the pool and 23+ miles on the treadmill and the streets.

Heaven 17 popped into my head for awhile today on the treadmill.

I think the road bike is what's going to ultimately get me back in shape. Rode 18 miles on Sunday and another 10 after work on Tuesday, dodging the rain around here. Once the weather gets better, I plan to be out on it consistently, no worse than 50 miles a week. Sunday looks similar to last Sunday weather-wise, so I'm going to pack some snacks/lunch and try to extend it out to about a 30-mile jaunt. The only times in my life when I have seemed to be able to slim down was when I was biking regularly, so let's get after it.

Went for a 2+ mile walk at 5:30 this morning. It was minus-4 lol and a nice little challenge.

This week: 200 laps swimming and 27 miles walking and on the elliptical.

Would've been 250 laps but the Rec Center sent an alert late last night saying the pool was closed today.

I was not happy. The Rec Center is probably the cleanest building in town.

Rec Center is closed till April 6 at the earliest, so no swimming which sucks.

So this week I ramped up the walking and did 38 miles.

Got in a some chest extensions with the weight machine at home.
