Taking a vacation from the board: Why?

And threads died.

 

The Wayback stuff is always fascinating. Threads bitching about the BCS back in 2003, a thread with 4 posts about Dany Heatley crashing his Ferrari that was sure to unfurl much more over the coming weeks, a thread from Walter_S about horrible songs from great bands (that might be one worthy of a remake). And one from 21 titled Still Can't Watch, Been Here Before about the 2003 Cubs, which in about two weeks hence, she will have been there again after the Bartman game.

 

One of my favorite threads ever was when Aaliyah died in the plane crash and every person who ever had died in a plane crash was posting.

This was back when you could change your username on every post.

 

I miss those days.

I miss the nice lady with the steak knives. Wonder if she's covering the Dolphins yet.
