Actually strip malls do suck, and I don't really give a shit about Florida. But how 'bout them White Sox? John Danks for Cy Young!

    That's prime quality.

I'm not going to risk my first picture post being the dreaded "red x" so I won't post one, but I've enjoyed shopping at Ukrop's Supermarkets in the Richmond, Va. area. The chain doesn't sell beer or wine and is closed on Sundays, but still has the majority of the market share in that area by a longshot. The prepared foods are damn tasty.

That particular Publix is in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Chain's based in Lakeland and is all over Florida, Georgia and (I think) South Carolina. Great grocery store.

BYH: Stop going to half-empty strip malls. :D

Publix announced recently that its store in Lake Mary will feature a gourmet foods deli to rival what Whole Foods offers.

It's all going to be cook-to-order.

Here's the recent story on this:

Caption: Pablo celebrated his first week in his new country by going to what Americans call a strip club. You can imagine his disappointment when he visited his first strip mall.
