    I may well be. I am for gay marriage, but, in the area I lived and worked in for two years, there were more HS kids in the anti-gay marriage camp than I thought there would be.

    You realize the term comes from the Book of Deuteronomy, right?

    And I'll happily trade an end to to the death penalty for the end of most/all abortions.

    I'd settle for a rape/incest/life of mother exclusion. Not some vague "health of the mother" exclusion.

    Support for abortion "rights" is not only morally indefensible, it's also logically indefensible. Why? The very support for a right to abortion depends on women choosing not to exercise that "right." By which I mean: if your mother chose to exercise the right to an abortion, you would not be here today to support the right to an abortion. Your support for the right to an abortion, then, depends on your mother declining to exercise that right..
