How often does this happen?

I'd like to see no abortions. If it gets the trade done, I'd allow the rape exception.

I'm mean, c'mon, if it came down to that, and that was the final objection, I'd give in and we'd get the deal done.

 

It's impossible to buy sandwiches from Subway. This is logically proven by the fact that if you could buy sandwiches from Subway, someone would have already come in and bought them all.

 

But we're not talking a deal-making world here. We're talking your PERFECT world. One where you get whatever you want (at least vis a vis abortion -- the Yankees still lose the occasional World Series).

So if you didn't have to give anything up to get what you wanted, would rape victims be required to carry their attacker's baby to term? Is that what you want? Because if it's not, then your offer to 'give it up' to get rid of all other abortions is facetious. And if it is, well ...
