I don't really think the Mancrunch people truly expected their ad to be accepted. They either wanted the free publicity that would come with the rejection (which they're getting now), or they wanted to put CBS in a corner.

    Looks like they get both.

Mrs. Tebow accuses an unnamed doctor of doing something that is illegal in his own country. She's making the claim that a doctor risked jail and the loss of his/her medical license to make a statement.

That's a real stretch and I'm sure it's not how the Tebow's would describe the doctor's advice.

A doctor has a responsibility to advise a patient of their options. As Americans, with the money & ability to travel home, all options were available to the Tebows.

Just because the doctor might have recommended an abortion doesn't mean he offered to perform the procedure.

Hopefully, the Tebows will step forward to clarify things.

I agree with this & said as much the other day.

CBS has said that they doubted their ability to pay for the ad.

When you're dealing with someone who's never bought from you before, you're obviously going to want proof that they've got the money before you approve & run an ad. It's not like you can repo the ad once its run.

Easy enough. They get paid, it runs. If not . . .

CBS has already put it out there that the Mancrunch ad didn't meet muster with their "standards and practices" department.

It's a little late for them to move the goalposts now. They're just digging a deeper hole.

Um, it's the right that took a Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal and has sullied the political landscape with an unwinnable fight. The left would have been just content to let a legally allowed procedure keep proceeding.

Now, with a minimum of snideness, tell us how the abortion debate is the left's fault. And I'm not saying necessarily that people can't reasonably see a moral issue that needs to be debated. I just find the assertion that the left started the debate to be laughable.

"I'll spit this out quick, before the armies of feminism try to gag me and strap electrodes to my forehead: Tim Tebow is one of the better things to happen to young women in some time."

Insert pic of Tebow with our favorite girl.

What are you and these Phillipines conspiracy theorists not understanding? If they had decided to get the abortion, they would have simply flown back to the U.S.
