Teddy Greenstein skewers Weis

    Or maybe its recruiting the wrong kids for what Charlie wants to do. Or maybe its player development which would fall into category of coaching.

    Perhaps Charlie is to married to positions which he recruited players for when they might be suited for another position. Slow LBS can turn into fast D lineman or Slow DB's can become fast LB's. Best example of that was when Holtz moved Chris Zorich from LB to Middle guard. Paterno does it all the time to find LB's.

    Whatever it is , it's not working.

    His thighs could never move fast enough to get up that kind of friction.

    His incompetent coaching neutralizes his allegedly brilliant recruiting -- he takes 4-and-5-star recruits and turns them into 1-and-2-star talent. If he doesn't run them off the roster altogether first.
