Teen in a CFB/NFL Press Box

I've seen quite a few writers/broadcasters who have brought their kids into the press box. On some level, I get it from a "showing them where Mommy or Daddy works" before the game starts, but I remember one columnist who had his daughter in the press box and she took the seat of the beat writer, who was sitting in the back row and (understandably) seething.
