This thread's a sham. It's more "TV character free agency" than "TV character draft."

So I'm going to take my small-market budget and I'm going to sign "Angel" from Rockford Files and "Saul" from Homeland and I'll spend my time trying to figure out if it's the same guy.

No doubt Angel is the kind of depth/role guy you can't win without.

If you're going to go with an Angel, you'd be better off going this route.

His brooding attitude might be cancerous to the team's chemistry, though.

My Angel would con that guy out of his leather jacket.

And then my Angel would bite his neck off at the stem.

    Game, set, match, my Angel.

Actually, he might contemplate biting the other Angel, but then realize that he's gotten too close to the dark forces, skulk away, mope in his office for two episodes and then decide he needs to visit his ex-GF in a special episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

It was during your Angel's attempt to bite my Angel that my Angel convinced him not only to not bite him, but he also got him to give up the jacket, a con that will, in some goofy way, mean trouble for Jim Rockford. The episode will start with a message on Jim's answering machine from your Angel, some cryptic threat about a jacket.

You also get a narrator, an interpretive dancer and myriad other characters:

I should have known I was too simplistic with my premise. ;)
