    It means that you and I are kindred spirits.

    When I was covering my beat, any time I would write anything that remotely pissed fans off, they would inevitably on the message boards lament the passing of the days of writers like Grantland Rice and Red Smith.

    I understand the historical value of their work. But I also understand the historical value of Woody Guthrie's work, and he can be painful to listen to. Same deal.
