Terrible News For One of Our Own

This is just awful. No words. My condolences.

 

Just got on here and found out about this. Words are inadequate; just know we're praying for this family.

 

Christ, what sad news. Deaths in the family are never easy, but a tragedy like this in unimaginable. Take care, MileHigh.

 

MileHigh, I am so sorry for your loss. I can tell from the family statement and from what you've written here that your journalism training has kicked in a few times during this ordeal. I'm sure your skills have been an asset to your immediate and extended family, although I'm sorry you've had the occasion to use them.

Agreed. I also noticed that he took the time to read and like so many of the posts on this thread. I hope writing here, and perhaps elsewhere, is helpful in some way. I've found that it can be when facing the painful moments in life.

 

I wish there were some magic words of comfort, but there just aren't. Condolences and sympathies from this corner of the SJ world. Stay strong.
