    I saw where the kid apparently was homesick and had planned to head to the road and hitchhike home. The father says they are going to have their lectures about hitchhiking again.

    How many times do you have to tell a 12-year-old that hitchhiking is not a good idea? Hell, he may be lucky he didn't make the road.
