    Quite Frankly, Stephen A. is reporting that the contract is for only three years (with a player option for the fourth).

    Not the five year max.

    He's leaving his options open, just in case the NBA lifts the salary cap and the Lakers or Knicks offer him a 20 year, $1 billion contract.

    So now that Lebron is considering not signing for the maximum length of the contract, Carmelo is considering doing the same:

    If this happens, it could be a little payback from Browns fans for The Drive and The Fumble (of course, Cleveland fans would be the biggest losers in this one (insert Cleveland joke here).
