We got once of those fancy Bevi water dispensers in our office — it’s fantastic as you get choices for all sorts of flavored water, options on temperature and level of sparkling if you want. We’ve eliminated using bottled water.

I delude myself at Five Guys by getting the burger patties and toppings in a bowl (much less messy than a lettuce wrap). But any "carb savings" from foregoing the bun are lost as I can't resist helping my wife with her sack full of delicious fries.

If I simply cut out fries and colas I'd drop twenty pounds.

The latest addictive junk food: Reese’s Thins peanut butter cups. A bag of the dark chocolate variety was left out at work, and after trying some I had to buy my own bag.

Perfect pop in your mouth size, and individually wrapped without having a paper cup wrapper to remove — saving precious seconds before you can eat them. And the dark chocolate/peanut butter combo is delicious.

Calories / carb count? Uh, I better jump on a treadmill!!

I’ll just get one. And maybe one more. OK, three, but that’s it.

    Until the next time.
