Yeah, that's a change that'll take a lot of time to get used to. I'm also intrigued by the fact that they'll no longer have flat panels on the sides. Wonder if that will decrease or increase side drafting at superspeedways? If you can get some air to flow between the cars, maybe we'll see some separation instead of two or three trains all trying to guess which one to jump into. Then again, some of these guys drive way over their skill limit as it is. No aerodynamic changes can solve that.

Jimmy John’s, which had sponsored Kevin Harvick for years (including spring Phoenix) is clearly no longer sponsoring Kevin Harvick. This scheme will run this weekend at Bristol and also at Kansas.

Stewart-Haas has not announced a sponsor for Harvick next weekend at Las Vegas.

Why is it that I think of recycling first when I see that Subway logo? (And much like Taco Bell, that's probably less of a coincidence than an actual representation of your digestive system.)

At first glance, I honestly thought it was John Deere.
It's not a bad-looking car, but it doesn't screen Subway to me.

People are on Twitter bitching about this like NASCAR didn’t used to start the season on the road course at Riverside.

Wonder what the progress is on constructing the Fontana half-mile? Every car ad I see on TV filmed there still shows the same configuration.

None because they’re gonna sell the land?

Riverside was a real track and not a gimmick.

That wasn’t the point — they’re whinging because NASCAR is starting on the West Coast and then charging back to the East Coast … which was totally a thing (and the Riverside January race used the previous years’ cars so everybody could debut their fancy new stuff at Bill France’s Left Turn).
