    Stewart is a prick 24/7.
A better "favorite" story is Earnhardt slipping Ed Hinton money to go buy Martinsville hot dogs so Teresa wouldn't find out.

Richard Petty Motorsports, which basically just used Richard Petty as a mascot for years. It’s still a touch odd that there’s no longer a Petty Enterprises.

Yeah, this isn't something that tugs at my heart strings or anything. Richard is in his mid 80s, and Kyle does who knows what. The organization has been a non factor for decades other than recognition and to serve as an icon.

So that's basically what's left of Petty, Yates and Evernham all rolled into two really mediocre cars. I'm certain Andrew Murstein has sucked any profits out of the operation (which have to be dwindling every year) and Retched is only there to wave his hat and sign autographs, because otherwise they'd basically be Rick Ware 2.0.

$20 million for two charters doesn't seem that cheap to me?

Wasn’t that long ago that a one-car team could go for more than that.

I thought I'd read that charters were going for $5 million last year.

I don't know how much of the purchase price would account for car inventory, parts, etc. I'm guessing a shop full of unusable stuff wouldn't fetch much.

The Wood Brothers wouldn't have gotten far without the Wood Wives to support them. RIP to a wonderful lady.
