    Went back and read that. Lotta respect for how they pulled it off (though it would have been very Nascar if some weepers came up) but can't imagine they'd want to do it every year, much less perhaps figure out the logistics at different stadiums. The original construction estimate of $1 million was a ROFL for sure.

    It wasn't a good race, but I don't know that it was any worse than most in recent years. At least they didn't have overtime.
    It just wasn't the Busch (Light) Clash. That's the race that is the harbinger of the season at Daytona. Maybe MLB could have pitchers and catchers report to Saskatchewan.

    Why do all the fire suits look like guys just went down to the CO-OP or TSC and bought a pair of Dickie's coveralls?

    I know nothing about country but I think TG Shephard was some sort of country star? Always wondered how he ended up being on the hood of that car.
