NASCAR said they were going to come down hard. So it’s for a qualifier… will they? Also will they want to risk pissing off Penske?

I guess this also means there’s some level of cooperation between Penske and RFK?

They’re saving up their rancor for Chad Knaus.

    Somewhere, Gary Nelson smiles.

Also, this happened on the final lap of the Buschwide race.

    1. Glad he's only beat up from that. That bent the crap out of a very large steel fence post (and thankfully happened on the backstretch).
    2. Unless Junior wants it for his car graveyard, there aren't enough pieces left to scrap. That's definitely an XCar. (Imagine centerpunching that bouncing engine at 180?)

Clearly nobody told these people that NASCAR is dead and a shell of its former self.

Pretty damn good "plate" racing ...

The problem with restrictor plate racing is what critics falsely used to say was the NBA's problem. No reason to tune in until the last 10 laps, or maybe 5 laps. Guys spend 99 percent of the race trying to avoid wrecking/getting wrecked and then the outcome is decided by one or more big wrecks at the end.

Yep, desk used to ask "what are your sidebars?" at the halfway mark. I didn't know what to tell them until they stopped wrecking.

At first I was gonna complain, but it looked like even racing back to the line Cindric crossed first. I don’t like GWC, but that’s fine. I thought they were giving it to him on a scoring loop.
