Brewers had played 16 straight days. After today they play 13 in a row. They're about to start a 7-day road trip. I bet they are not too upset about getting the day off.

Who will be Oakland's All-Star rep? My god, they have no one.

Ryan Noda and Brent Rooker are actually OK. Noda is fourth in the AL in OBP and Rooker is 10th in OPS. Of course, Noda is a Rule 5 guy and Rooker has bounced around for years, so who knows how they'll be in a month. But one of them is probably the All-Star and a super-duper easy feature idea for All-Star media day. Meet the All-Star rep for the worst team of all-time!

Yup, and I'll take the under on whatever stat line you want to say they'll have by All-Star Game time.

It’ll be some random reliever to round out the pitching staff — Richard Lovelady seems like a fine candidate

Great inning for relievers in Chicago. Angels 2022 draftee Ben Joyce debuts and strikes out the side, pumping a bunch of 100 mph+ fastballs. Then Liam Hendriks comes out to a great ovation in his first performance since battling cancer.
Correction: Joyce had two strikeouts and a pop up.

The A's have beaten the Braves, thereby making the question not which of their players will make the All-Star team, but will ALL of their players make the All-Star team?

The Mariners’ young phenom, Bryce Miller, found out what is was like to face a real lineup. Yankees pound him for 11 hits, 8 runs (so far) in 4-2/3 innings.
