In other news, the Phillies fanbois on Twitter are well on their way to turning Trea Turner into Public Enemy No. 1.

 

He's had a tough year so far for sure, but Turner is far from the only Phillie underachiever.

 

Speaking of underachieving, those San Diego Padres are about to hand another one over.

 

This is some epic poor pitch-calling by the home-plate ump in Philadelphia. He's missed four pitches on the first three batters to face Kimbrel alone.

 

And it's a doubleheader today. Ump didn't even have the excuse he wanted to wrap it up so he could go out tonight. Back in the day at Fenway, we called that the Daisy Buchanan's strike after the Back Bay's most well-known hock pick-up bar.

 

I bet the Giants fans on this board were pissed that they missed out on him as well.
