I don't want to overstate about Clayton Kershaw's postseason history. So I'll just say -- damn, that was not pretty.

    LOL Dodgers.

Arizona puts up six in the first in L.A. -- and only one out in the first.

I don't think so. Based on standard run expectancy charts, he needed to have about a 72% of succeeding just for it to be a breakeven proposition, and the LeClerc-Heim battery is pretty doggone effective against steal attempts.

He's been there before and does not like it.

2012 and yes. The call was hilariously wrong but that's what happens to the Braves at this time of year.

Gotta feel for Kershaw (well, not @Spartan Squad, apparently :D). He's going to the HOF the moment he's eligible and he's a top-two pitcher of his era (behind Verlander) but at this point he's never going to rewrite the can't win the big one narrative. He's too beat up to string together several good starts in October. His only title might end up being the weird pandemic one. It counts like all the rest but all those monster regular seasons and neither he nor the Dodgers have been able to close any of them out.

And of course baseball media said on the covid season "Kershaw finally won on October," when, in reality, it was June.
