Agreed, I watched it too. I had totally forgotten the night they bombed Mike Bolsinger.

 

One thing I love about the playoffs is, because I don't follow any other team as closely as I follow my favorite team, you get to see relievers of other teams come in and wonder, how the hell does anyone EVER hit this guy (knowing full well they have their off nights and their fans may be queasy).

Jose Alvarado of the Phils is one of those guys to me right now. That strike inside to Pillar was a motherfucker.

 

Austin motherfucking Riley. Wow.

HAHAHA Bryce Harper. What a perfect ending. And what a fucking catch.

 

Didn't really expect Atlanta to get swept. Great play to end the game. Don't even blame Harper. Outfielders sure didn't look at first (when he had to decide) they were catching up to it.

 

Warning track? Harris was up against the fence at fencetop level. Why denigrate a great catch for a joke?

 

Marshall Edwards* bows in Michael Harris's general direction ... though Edwards didn't double anyone up afterwards.

* All but maybe Gutter saying to themselves, "Who the fuck is Marshall Edwards?"

 

Lost in Harris' catch, that was a great relay by Riley after the throw-in was kicked around a little. A little bit of Jeter in Oakland vibes.
