If baseball players don't like signing autographs for kids, they should take up miniature golf.

God forbid baseball try to grow the game by eliminating hours of down time and giving children memories.

Couldn't agree more, just saying, this is how players feel.

Heard an amazing fact today: Only one SEC player is in the Hall of Fame: Frank Thomas.
I know college baseball wasn’t really a thing for a long time and that there aren’t many former collegians in the Hall, but that’s still surprising.

Tom Hamilton was talking about it today. Said it poked its head out last year. The A’s people told him it died when the Guardians arrived in Oakland this year. Hamilton said it was as big as a Shetland pony when it inevitably showed itself.

Innings almost always don't take half an hour, anyway. They generally never did, as most games did not last close to four hours, which they would with half-hour innings.

Watching the Cubs and their roster seems more like a fantasy team than an actual team. Just a bunch of random players: Trey Mancini, Eric Hosmer, Cody Bellinger, Dansby Swanson, Yan Gomes, Tucker Barnhart, Jameson Tallion, Drew Smyly, Marcus Stroman.
Nico Hoerner, Ian Happ and a couple pitchers are the only ones they’ve developed. It’s a long way since 2016.
