Seattle is one example. It’s covered, but it is open to the elements.

Would be hilarious if the Dodgers picked him up and got something out of him the rest of the season.

Maybe even the Giants would take him back. Look what the Cards got out of Pujols last year.

Maybe the Mets can sign Bumgarner to replace Scherzer, who's gonna be suspended 10 games.

That was said like 4,000 times while he was alive.

He's completely useless as a pitcher anymore, which is why they are paying him to go away

The Giants should have voided his contract immediately after that dirtbike accident that ruined his shoulder and his career.

He can still hit like a mofo, sucks as a starting pitcher. All those postseason innings piled up quick.

Wouldn't you have said that about Pujols last year? How much did you think McCutchen had left coming into this year?

I'm surprised that Bumgarner is 33. It seems like he would be a lot older based on his career. Same with 35-year-old Clayton Kershaw.
It also seems that Jacob DeGrom should be younger than 34.
Another surprising number is MadBum's career 134-124 record. I know wins and losses don't mean what they used to, but I would have assumed he was well over .500.

Pretty good chance we'll see something rare by tomorrow night.
Through 19 games, the Rays are +83 in scoring margin.
Since the start of the 1901 season, only two teams, the 1905 Giants (+80) and the 1902 Pirates (+81), have outscored the opposition by ≥80 runs through a season's first 20 games. So if the Rays win by any margin or lose by three or fewer against the injured White Sox on Friday, they join the club.

The A's are -86 in scoring margin through 19 games.
Only one team since the start of the 1901 season, the 1988 Orioles (-83), has been outscored by ≥ 80 through a season's first 20 games. Unless the A's beat the division-leading Rangers by ≥7, they join that club.
