    His "it didn't come out the way I wanted it to" excuse...

    I mean, there was no verbal stumble AT ALL. He spoke very clearly. He said what he said.

    Side note: if A's fans decide to boycott, how would we know?

    I would bet Ray Boone, Bob Boone and Arron/Brett Boone did it too. Probably Gus Bell, Buddy Bell and David Bell as well. Jose and Danny Tartabull probably.

    President of Negro Museum said forgive so I’m changing my view. Although I still know it wasn’t a “mispronunciation” as ESPN writes.
