    Turns out he was in fact credited with a single earlier, so his second single in the ninth left him a double shy of the cycle. That's why he's not the fucking MVP, @BTExpress! :D

    Unfortunately not the reason we all hoped


    A source with knowledge of the situation told The New York Post that Hernandez has missed most of the season due to a back injury, and that he would be expected to return this season once his injury has been cleared.
