That's why it's a race instead of the contrived stages and running past the advertised distance of today.

 

There is something to be said about a good old-fashioned ass whooping.

It’s not entertaining when contrived cautions lead to 33 cars being on the lead lap at the end of a race at Charlotte.

 

That's what made Bristol so unusual this spring. These guys never have to deal with lapped traffic because NASCAR wants parody .... parity.

Once again, I think we see how far safety has come in the past 23 years. This wreck was very reminiscent of Earnhardt's wreck, with the hard right turn at speed into the wall.

First thing I thought of when I saw the replay. There was a Busch (don't care what it is now) Series wreck on Saturday that was a very hard infield wall hit as well.

 

Yikes, that "I don't know if I'm alright" is a scary line.
