He had Levi, Ray & Shoup as a longtime sponsor when I was still covering, and I'm not sure I ever exactly figured out what that was.

Some combination of the Three Stooges and the Pep Boys?

Helluva race in Austria today. Action was exciting throughout and the finish was pretty wild.

Heading for the 74th overtime restart in Nashville.
The last caution was caused by Kyle Larson running out of gas on the restart and a bunch of guys bunching up around him. They've run so many caution laps that most of the top 10 when the first overtime laps were run are now having to pit for gas.

    And ANOTHER freaking caution. Sheesh.
They're going to be at about 30 overtime laps on the next restart.
So when you see the results and ask how Ryan Preece or Bubba Wallace won? That's how.

RT this if you ran out of gas in Nashville tonight.

This might be the politest way that a team has ever called out a sponsor for not paying its bill.

So you're saying the sponsorship went t*ts up?

I drove through Nashville on Sunday and didn’t realize there was a race until just now. That’s how much the world has changed for NASCAR, which used to bring traffic to its knees within a 90-mile radius on race day.

It was at the "super" speedway, which is 25 miles east of NashVegas in Lebanon -- near Nashville but not actually in it.
