Kyle Larson, leading with 4 laps to go at Bristol: "I'm trying to get to the white flag as quick as I can."

North of 460 laps led. Yeesh.

Maybe a dumb question, but when the F1 teams are travelling overseas, how does all their stuff get to the race site? Does F1 charter a big ass plane to take all the stuff? Do teams ship it themselves? Do they use boats? I'm guessing the cars are deconstructed for easier transport, but that still a lot of stuff to move halfway around the world.

If you're looking for a boring race, the majority of the Singapore GP is still ahead.

It's a mix. Teams will have multiple race kits for some of the more generic stuff they use at each race and ship those via cargo ship months in advance. Then they pack up after each race and the stuff that has to go gets packed on a cargo plane provided by F1. F1 charters multiple planes - like 5 or 6 of them - for shipping the teams overseas. That's just the stuff, though. Crews fly commercial.

Really kind of fascinating from a logistics perspective.

Given as much skullduggery is involved with the F1, I'm surprised teams allow any of their stuff out of their sight.

They can have multiple kits, but the engines have to be the same?

Engines and chasis go on the cargo plane and aren't part of the advance shipments.

Logically, the week that Rahal Letterman Lanigan gets raided by the FBI is the week that they get into Victory Lane at IMS.

David Hoots was the guest on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s podcast this week. I thought it was a pretty insightful interview.

He basically called current NASCAR race control a bunch of idiots without saying those words.
