Damn...was falling asleep when I saw that (cause of the time, not photos) but just got a nasty wakeup call.

    UT -

    Bless your little heart.
You broke new ground here by posting a gut pile foto. I would have bet good money, though, that the first gut pile postage would have been deer guts, not snake guts.
And, I want it known that I laughed till I had tears coming out of my eyes at Doc's "What the fuck is that?" post. ;D

    AND ......

That had to be one big rattler for a gut pile that big.

I was doing some judging work for another state's press association awards, and one of the papers had run (no lie) a photo of a snake in the middle of eating a squirrel. I wish I hadn't thrown that paper away now.

Just saw UT's pix from yesterday's hour-long interview of the new varsity football coach, with his wife and 3-year-old son ... UT is the real deal, y'all. Fantastic stuff.

I already knew that when I saw her stuff, but the shutterbug has got quite the eye.

Thanks, UT. (And stop coughing all over the office :D )

Just a shot from the portrait session Xan mentioned. It was a lot of fun.

UT - nice simple portrait. Well balanced light, and the light angle makes for a nice dramatic shadow. Do you have any gels for your flash? A yellow or orange tinted gel would look nice here.

They have crew in N.H. in the summer?
Were you in a boat, or was this shot from shore on a large bend in the river?
I like how the craft is cuttine a vertical wave, while the oars are cutting waves perpendicular to it.

I was in a boat with the coach. I just love how beautiful the scenery is up here.
