Finally caught up on this week, thanks to the DVR.

Glad to see Amani and Marcus still in the race. I love Marcus' energy - he and Amani offset each other really well.

Though I was confused about the U-Turn - even if I've been watching this show for years - I didn't think that you could U-Turn a team ahead of you ...

Since we've been doing this, they've scored 3, 2, 7, 2 and 5 points. That's three times in which they weren't one of the two worst teams. Not "well." :D

You can U-Turn anyone, but if they are ahead of you, the move is voided.

I was surprised they U-Turned a team that they saw leave the area as they arrived.

I like Zach, but his dad is a bit of a jerk.

Plus, once you use a U-Turn, you don't get another one for the rest of the race. So they effectively wasted their one U-Turn they get during the duration of this season.

Hopefully their season won't last much longer. :D

I thought the use of the Fast Forward was a waste too, especially since the only reason they used it was to try to win a leg, not to avoid being eliminated. They knew they were in second and could see the other detour, so they would knew if they were in trouble of being past by other teams.
It seems whenever a team has been given a fast forward, they are always in a rush to use it.

They used the Express Pass, not the Fast Forward. The difference between the two is that the FF used to be hidden on one or two legs of the race, and a team had to complete a task to claim it; the FF then allowed that team to bypass all remaining tasks on that leg and proceed directly to the Pit Stop. The Express Pass only allows the team that won it to bypass the task they're currently on.

Well, what I meant to say was that they have been doing "better" than anyone expected them to do for older people. :)

I blame it on the USPS. Are you SURE they haven't delivered that bottle of Nobilo yet??? ;)

We haven't seen the Fast Forward yet on this season. They're back to only doing one per season, instead of two. It'll be interesting to see where the one pops up this season.

Is anyone else excited to see Denmark? I think I remember Phil saying that this is the first time TAR has gone there. :D

Actually, I believe the FF has been outright replaced by the Express Pass. I don't recall having seen a FF in at least the last three Race cycles.

And they have to use the express pass, by what, leg 8?

Anyway, the u_turn and the express pass were two examples of a poorly run race.
