I thought there would be a 21-point bonus for the overall win :D

I had thought about it, just to stick it to schieza and bd77. But I am nothing if not fair. :D

I wonder how many tries it took Marcus to get that flight simulator, seeing as how they didn't even get to Margaret Mitchell's house, it seems, until the other teams were on the mat. (They probably got a "please proceed to the pit stop" clue at Turner Field.)

Jeremy and Sandy got totally screwed by Mr. Akron, but the sight of them running around the furniture store looking for the clue was hilarious.

Ernie and Cindy ran a flawless leg and honestly, once A&M got stuck at the flight school, deserved to win.

Ernie and Cindy definitely earned that win - hats off to them. Doing the flight simulator in one try was huge. I wonder, though, how much of an edge Amani and Marcus would have had if they would have done it in one, as well. I would think they would have gotten those other clues pretty quickly.

I chuckled when the two teams were struggling with the Hank Aaron clue - I think any of us on this board would have gotten it right away - I did. And, I chuckled when they had to use a manual typewriter. I used one at my college radio station in the 80s and knew right away about the "1/l." Well, guess that means I'm old...

I KNEW as soon as it said "the Dump" someone would end up at that warehouse furniture store. I used to drive past it all the time on the interstate.

As a GWTW fangirl, I LOVED them getting to write in Margaret Mitchell's room. it's my favorite movie, and I haven't gone the 3/4 of a mile from the office to go see the MM house. I suck. I need to go.

Was happy with the end result. Any one of those teams winning made the last show worth it. I did have to chuckle at the scene at the Mitchell house typewriter, though. My grandfather had an old oily-black Royal typewriter that did not have a 1 key either.

Felt bad for Marcus at the Flight simulator.

Could someone please tell me why they call that little house "The Dump"?

It said "12th try" on the screen at one point, so it was at least that many for Marcus.

I loved how supportive Amani was in the cab afterward.

That's what you get when you ask some random dude in a pickup under an overpass ...

Wait, that wasn't you in the hoop skirt sitting on the stoop?
