I felt the same, about both those teams.

Didn't Anna Leigh even get snide/smart-alecky about the carnival? I think she said something about her dad like, "He's gonna get on that horse and smile." I wanted her dad to go off on her. She kind of realized how she was acting, though, after she thought about it, and I think Rob was a beneficiary of that during the lock challenge. I was surprised she helped him out, although I think he might have seen the combination over her shoulder anyway.

I was once again impressed with Rob and Corey, particularly Corey quickly getting the witten task done, and then figuring out how to manage and accomplish the soccer-dart challenge. I could tell, too, that Rob would indeed be good at darts, just as he contended.

And, as Greg and John said when they greeted their shadows at the mat, it was a great job by Robbin and Chelsea to finish second in the leg.

I echo the sentiment this is a season of really likable teams, sans Anna Leigh. One thing about U-Turning them was seeing how Anna Leigh would react when something got hard or adversity struck. And that goes forward now as they remain mid-pack and can't be front-runners. She's a really good racer, is tenacious at challenges, but that same makeup leads her to snapping at her dad for minor stuff, so I'll be interested if they hold it together. They have similar personalities, I think, and that could unravel. But she's a grinder and may just do anything it takes to win.

Rob and Corey are so easy to root for. Figuring how to communicate for driving was ace.

With the strike over and the networks building their schedules, we'll only need to wait a few months for more Race. New season is March 13.

Can I request to get a team that isn't eliminated within the first few episodes? :D

Anna Leigh constantly riding her dad is one of the best comedic moments in each episode. I'd feel sorry for Dad, but then he created this "monster" (or at least had a hand in it; I'm saying big part because Dads/daughters).

Rob and Corey are fantastic. I thought that soccer challenge was going to be brutal and they got it done. (Thought the mustard challenge was going to be tougher than it appeared as well.)

Rob and Corey may be one of the most likeable teams in Race history. It would be crushing to see them get eliminated at any point.

Steve and Anna Leigh didn't deserve to survive. Anna Leigh was treading closely to Rachel (whiny Big Brother chick) territory, and that's not a good thing.

As a guy with allergies that hay challenge would have been the end of me!

I'm not sure how they made up the time and passed the sisters. Maybe I just wasn't watching close enough, like the teams that missed the signs for the Express Pass.

I have always wanted to go to Austria, and am planning on it, someday. I didn't previously feel that way about Slovenia, but now...wow, it looked beautiful, as all the non-complaining competitors took the time to note.:)

I loved that Steve and Anna Leigh -- well, mostly Anna Leigh -- missed the sign about the Express Pass already having been taken and climbed up all those steps, only to get nothing for it. It was like karma biting her for her lousy, unattractive attitude and behavior. I know the race is stressful, and she really wants to win, and thinks she can, and that makes it worse, but I'd just about had enough of her and her whining and negativity and doomsday predictions in this episode. I thought I even heard her saying, "Get you ass up here (or something like that)? to her dad.

It made me especially hate that my team, Morgan and Lena, wound up getting eliminated -- losing out to Steve and Anna Leigh, in particular, in the end. To answer MTM's question, I think Lena just made too many wrong turns/got lost driving too much, and they, somehow, lost enough time that Steve and Anna Leigh were able to make up for, even after they climbed those thousand steps.

I was happy Rob and Corey got the Express Pass, keeping at those steps while two other strong teams turned back from them. Hopefully, they'll be able to use it to help themselves in one of the upcoming later legs.

I was happy to see Garrett and Joel do pretty well, recovering from last week's leg, and after they went back for the notebook that got left behind at the hay-harvesting challenge. I wondered about the significance of that notebook?

One of them said that they'd need it if/when they made it to the finish. I wonder what information is in it, and if it's provided by the race, or something the competitors keep and compile along the way. I wonder if it's just a helpful journal, to jog their memories or remind them of things in case of a final challenge that requires it, or if it's something that is actually checked for being in their possession at the end, like a passport might be?

I know a couple of people who have stopped in Slovenia on the way to or from vacations in Croatia and they raved about it. Looks spectacular.

In the past I have seen teams consult notebooks to jog their memories on the last leg.
