Jeez, I can see how Marie can't find anyone to run the Race with other than her ex. She seems like a piece of work.

 

Just caught up on the first two episodes, pink hair might be the most annoying peraon in recent TAR seasons. And if the beards can't win, I hope the ex-NFL dudes get it. They seem like nice guys.

I can think of a word for her too but only know how to say it in english.

 

I thought it was really unfair to eliminate a team because they got screwed at the airports with delays and mechanical failures.

It wasn't their fault they got stuck. I thought it sucked.

 

I really liked the NFL'ers, but they got totally screwed, first by the travel agent that tried to book them on the wrong date, then gave them a flight that completely screwed them. If what I saw was correct, their flight from London-Lisbon didn't leave London until 9:15 P.M., so they had to have been there at almost midnight. I can't remember Phil ever meeting someone at the airport to eliminate them. Plus, I'm assuming that a bunch of these locations, like the museum and the tile place, at closing times, so if it had been non-elim, they would have been a full day behind people trying to get tasks completed from the previous leg.

That being said, especially at the beginning of the Race, I would always try to stick with at least one other team on these long connecting flights. That way, you know that if you get screwed at the airports, it's likely you're BOTH getting screwed at the airports.

Marie is not getting any more likable as the Race goes on.

Also, the actor they got to play Magellan was HYSTERICAL.

Is it really any different than the people who've gotten stuck with a bad cab driver? Sure, it sucks to go out on something that you had no control over. But that's happened to plenty of teams through the years.
