Express Pass or no Express Pass, I would have left Marie sitting on that barren stretch of highway in Norway. Does she have ANY redeeming qualities? Has anyone heard her give so much as a thank you or any sort of compliment to Tim? (I especially liked the part where she whined, "Why is this happening to me? I'm nice to everyone!" I had to pause my DVR to laugh.)

Norway looked beautiful.

Also, what part of DON'T GO ON TAR UNLESS YOU CAN DRIVE A STICK SHIFT do teams not comprehend?

I really hope we don't have a weeklong gap just to have Marie break down and give the Express Pass to Nicole and Travis. (I wonder if that would even work because they HAVE to have the final clue, so they would have to go back to the Cliff of Product Placement anyway, right? I've seen it where Phil won't allow teams to check in if they don't have all of their clues.)

It'll be interesting to see how the To Be Continued leg coupled with the sun never going down affects teams in the next leg.

 

I was wondering that too, will they have to go back anyway, or could they just say no to the Express Pass and just follow them in the car to the Pit Stop?

 

You've got to have the clue to check in.

If teams were smart, they'd not offer to help them at all right now. If only because of her "You know I have an express pass, right?" bullshit. Don't help them and hope that she goes home holding both of them.

 

I mean, one of the teams came right out and said that she's promised it to almost every team at some point on the race. At this point, I wouldn't trust anything she says/promises. Who's to say that she would get the place of the Pit Stop and say she wasn't going to give them the pass until it panned out? I could see her doing that.

 

I hate when the freaks of the season become likeable. Adios, beards.

I was just surprised Marie didn't U-Turn someone. Not that she didn't consider it ...

As a former choir nerd who had to sing at least one piece in a Romance language every year, I would have ROCKED the Vienna Boy's Choir challenge. Getting to sing with the Vienna Boy's Choir? YES PLEASE.

I felt bad for the Oklahoma boys. I really liked them. Just all around nice guys. But yeah, I kind of feel like the bulk of this episode was spent with the singing challenge and not with the other challenges.

 

It's like having a challenge where one person from each team has to bench press 300 pounds.
Some people just cannot sing.
