Doesn't it seem unusual that the show is skipping a whole lot of territory between Sri Lanka and Rome? Then again, the contestants will be spending a decent amount of time in Europe, which isn't a bad thing...

Did anybody else think those three American women who helped one of the teams seemed like they recognized it was TAR?

Honestly, I thought Dave and Connor got way too worked up about being U-Turned by Brenchel. That's part of the game. Just deal with it, do the other half, and move on. (I think it would have been smarter to U-Turn the Cowboys, even though they would have likely sped through the donkey riding challenge.)

Leo and Jamal are much nicer this time around. Sticking around to make sure Connor was going to get the calligraphy challenge was decent of them.

Feel bad for Flight Time and Big Easy. Before your fourth stint on TAR, maybe you should learn to navigate?

I don't like Dave and Connor nearly as much as I thought I did the last time they were on.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm an Afghanimals fan.

I agree with Amy. Why was Dave whining about being "a 60-year-old man?" Gramps, you're playing the same game, so STFU.

And his little hissy fit refusing to do the calligraphy was really unbecoming.

If I get a chance to see a Globetrotters game, I'm taking Big Easy some cookies.

That was the best final interview in the history of reality TV!

As for Gramps and his weirdo kid...their perving on the County Singers makes me throw up a bit in my mouth.

If there is any place to get eliminated, it would be at the top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps. Like, if this had been a non-elim leg, I would have turned to Phil and been like, "LOOK AT THIS VIEW! I'M NOT EVEN MAD ABOUT GETTING ELIMINATED!" But how many lives do the Country Singers have?!

ALSO PUPPIES. MANY MANY PUPPIES. I WANT A BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG. This was possibly the cutest challenge that involved animals since the steeplechasing bunnies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnWS8rmfqbk

Loved the use of the William Tell Overture, which could be used to great advantage on this show.

But mostly, I love Switzerland. What a beautiful place! And the people there were so nice when I was there. :D

I never thought Brendan and Rachel could be sympathetic characters, but I felt for them the way the other teams went on and on bashing them.

They didn't U-Turn Dave and Connor out of spite, it was strategic.

Rachel is either much more composed this time or getting a much better edit.

Still, she has one of those faces that just piss you off.

The whining about the Brenchels is hampering my enjoyment of the show. I think Amazing race is cool enough without the ginned up personality conflicts.

Will be happy to see Dave and Connor go. Also enjoyed the Afghans talking smack about winning the foot race while in the gondola however it looks like the Cowboys beat them for second place.

Exactly. You've seen so many teams get burned on this race because they U-turn a team that has already gone on and they basically wasted their U-turn. They knew Dave and Connor were behind them. There are a lot of teams who have U-turned a team just because they knew 100% that they were still behind them. Plus, whining (and calligraphy) skills aside, D&C are a strong team.

The producers are probably playing up the whining to make Brenchel look like the "villains" or some shit. I wish they wouldn't be focused on the ~drama~ because I'd rather see a bunch of HD shots of the Swiss Alps, not a bunch of people whining about another team.

This is an utterly terrible season. These are supposed to be "All-Stars," the best of the best who have played Amazing Race. Yet, four of the five remaining teams can't trip over themselves fast enough to help each other out. In a competition for a million bucks.

It's pitiful. Brenchel is the only team willing to stab someone in the back to win the game.
