They can't afford a baby on the mil she won on Big Brother?

You only get $500K for winning Big Brother.

That was my question. If Dave is so feeble, shouldn't he be doing non-physical challenges? And that poetry challenge did not look like it was easy at all. At first, I thought that they were able to read the Welsh and then they said they had to memorize it? I would still be there.

Holy crap that was an awesome finale. Getting to do a magic trick with David Copperfield and skydive into the motorspeedway? How freaking cool.

Brenchel got completely screwed by their taxi driver. But oh my fucking god, was I sick of hearing about how badly Rachel wanted a baby. Honey, if you want to have a kid, whether or not you win a stupid reality show should NOT be the reasoning behind having a kid. You should really put a bit more thought into having a child than, "if we win, my husband says we can try to have a baby!" And not even thinking about the feasibility of having a kid....oh dear god, I wanted to stab her by the end. She was great this season until about the last three episodes, then whiny Rachel came out.

I'm okay with Dave and Connor winning. Even with the bitching about getting U-turned, they were still a likable team who got screwed the last time they were on the Race. I can't remember why though...it's not like they ever talked about it. :p

Final pool results (clearly, Amy kicked everyone's butts quite handily):
Amy - Dave and Connor 129
    IJAG - Brenchel 79
*bumpy - Jet and Cord 78
*Inky - Leo and Jamal 60
WolvEagle - Caroline and Jennifer 42
*Huggy - Flight Time and Big Easy 27
*JayFerrar - Margie and Luke 25
*Wenders - John and Jessica 24
*MTM - Bopper and Mallory 7
*TigerVols - Joey and Meghan 5
*BNWriter - Natalie and Nadiya 1

    Glad Dave and Connor won.

And I was especially glad Brenchel finished a distant third. F them. I hope they never show up on my TV again.

I want the Cowboys and Globies to get shows of their own. I would DVR them all.

I didn't care if Dave and Connor or the country singers won, though the country singers were my team. All I wanted was for Brenchel to finish third. Yes, there is a God.

Hard to believe the country singers came that close to winning. That would have been something.

Why would Brendan (sp?) want to procreate with, let alone be married to, her? Methinks this marriage will not end well if he's thinking with his first brain, not his second.

Yes, I too would like to see the cowboys and Globetrotters on a different show. All four of them are so cool.

And, considering that Ford is a major sponsor of TAR and I'm biased since I live here, I'd love to see a finale in Detroit. Hey, if they could end one season in Atlanta (which was cool), one can only hope. It could even be a two-nation finale since Windsor is across the river. Just sayin'.

Fun finale to watch, but I would have liked to see something a bit more competitive.

No memory puzzle of where they had been and no real chance to catch up once the helicopters took off.

Connor's cancer story made me not dislike them so much, but it still didn't make up for all of Dave's whining.

And next season, TAR moves to Friday night http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/industry_news/2014_May_14_network-upfronts

The Amazing Race has been moved from its Sunday night timeslot to Fridays at 8 p.m. That gets it out of the way of football overruns, which should make east coast viewers happy, but also puts it in direct competition with Fox’s sleeper hit Masterchef Junior. While some reality TV has thrived on Fridays, including Shark Tank, this could indicate CBS’ lack of confidence in the show’s future performance—or just that it wants to support a new drama.

Testify, bother. Just insufferable in the finale.

When he started trying to bribe the country singers' cabbie with the "It's for our baby" line, I realized he was perfect for her.

    Agreed, they deserve each other.

Since I was going to win the pool even if Dave and Connor lost, I was hoping the country singers would pull it off. They grew on me through the season, unlike my team which became more annoying with every "I'm so old" whine.

But YAY ME! My wins this season and last demonstrate a real talent for being randomly assigned. Of course, I couldn't do it without Wenders.

It was kind of fun watching Rachel cry right on cue at the end.
