Agree 100%, that whole "we love this game too much, we have waited so long to run the race, we can't POSSIBLY be eliminated!" bullshit the other night was ridiculous.

And I had to look up the background on the pancake race. Had no idea it was such a bigger deal in the UK. Had never heard of it.

I agree, although I must admit that I was impressed that one team -- I think it was the dating couple, IIRC -- mentioned that they were that way, and that they'd even taken archery classes, and done some other stuff like cross-country skiing specifically with the idea of competing in "The Amazing Race" in mind.

I'd never go that far with preparations. You just never know what you'll need anyway, so beyond making sure I knew how to swim, could drive a stick-shift car and felt pretty confident reading a map/Thomas guide, I don't think I'd go too crazy.

I'm bummed my guys got knocked out - they seemed pretty cool. But, with that injury, there's no way they could have held up in the long run.

I don't see anyone beating the dentists, but I hope it happens because he's so cocky.

Really? I could see a couple of teams having a chance to beat them. They really are too cocky, and at some point, it will catch up with them.

Last night's Scotland episode was really interesting. I thought it was funny how the animals really were teaching the people lessons. Like, how about you don't try to manhandle us, and maybe things'll work out better.

I was almost happy to see the ponies giving a couple of teams a hard time as they tried to yank 'em around, and the sheep challenge was funny. You knew it was going to happen, that the teams were going to have a tough time rounding them up, controlling them and communicating what they wanted them to do. I have to say, I had no idea sheep could be so light on their feet and actually jump quite so well as they apparently can. Makes you really respect the work that herding dogs do.

It was hilarious watching people trying to corral the sheep, talk to them, and then, how one player kept thanking the sheep for doing what they wanted.

THIS SO MUCH. Dude, your downfall will be your arrogance, 100%.

The sheep challenge made me think of the movie Babe. And the way that the sheep kept jumping around made me laugh.

I still have to get used to TAR being on Friday. Haven't watched the last two episodes until the next day.

The dentists will be eliminated when his spray tan starts to fade and he takes a penalty to get a fresh coat.

It was pretty cool, always wondered how the cameramen stay out of the picture when they do a wide shot of the teams racing or doing a challenge. Magic of TV, I guess.

Jim and Misti certainly got put in their place by this week's challenges, and I was glad about that.

Jim's eyes looked like pinballs all night long, and he looked like he was going to explode. It was hilarious. First, they give up on the parking place challenge, and then Jim is just saying how freaking easy the wedding cake challenge was, and then they immediately started having trouble riding the bike contraption, and what does Jim say but "This is a lot freaking harder than it seems" or something like that.

And, is anyone else getting sick of Shelley and Nici?

I was bummed it was a non-elimination leg. It would have been great to see them burn the pass.

With Shelley and Nici, man talk about tough love between a mother and daughter. I admire the mom for essentially telling her daughter to grow up. But if this continues - and based on the teaser, it might - they're not long for TAR.

REALLY Phil? Non-elim?!?! Seeing the Dentists seriously struggle was amazing. Misti should take some duct tape and put it over Jim's mouth next week.

I loved the sustainability challenge, even if it was just an infomercial for Ford. Forced the teams to not speed and try to drive under the speed limit when they've been on a plane for hours and raring to go.

Shelley and Nici BOTH need to grow up. If you cannot work as a team, TAR is not the place for you.

Also, may I just say that I am SHOCKED that people had to go off and Google the capitals of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark?? Not everyone may have been as obsessed with Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego like me as a kid, but come on, now. That is about the easiest possible question you could ask (except for Robbie, who I'm not entirely sure knows that Sweden is a separate country from Denmark).
