I wasn't making fun of you or anything. I was agreeing with you. When every other person on the Race is going on about how they could never do these tasks with one arm like her...when she figures out ways to do challenges with only one arm (BY USING HER FEET).

I'm okay with using the word amazing, because that's pretty much what she is.

No problem. Guess I'm a little jumpy because I've been knocked around in other threads and, as a result, don't contribute much to SJ anymore.

    Don't stop contributing.

Don't let others' responses dictate whether you hang around here and contribute, if that's what you want to do. Everyone has something to offer, to someone.

Based on the latest episode, I'll take a guess as to what the racers had for dinner once they got to the pit stop: Sicilian pizza.

That go-kart challenge looked so fun, if a bit scary. That winding road looked like it was way the heck up there and around that mountain, judging by the vantage point you had looking out over the sea from it. I wondered if there were actually wheels on those go-karts, given that they actually looked a lot like a hovercraft.

Did anyone else notice the difference in how they felt with regard to Tim and TeJay (the College Sweethearts) when they were given a pass to the pit stop because this was a non-elimination week, as compared to when Jim and Misti (the Married Dentists) benefited from the same thing a couple weeks ago?

Amazing how much happier and glad I was for Tim and TeJay than I was for the dentists. Something about the way the dentists are approaching the race just rubs me the wrong way, whereas I kind of like Tim and TeJay.

I agree - every team left is likeable, except the dentists.

Moving to Sicily to retire. That view. That pizza. YES PLEASE. I'm also noticing a lot of teams being more willing to team up on challenges (like the opera challenge), knowing that the Pit Stop was probably close.

I know the wife said TAR was the most fun the Dentists have had in their time together, but I really don't think he is enjoying it. He seems to be so focused on winning that he's not fully experiencing it.

The one-armed girl is an inspiration.

It may not matter since they have an express pass, but I wonder if the producers would give them a heads up if a challenge required two arms for safety reasons or to avoid liability.

Of course it may not really matter since she'd just take off her shoes and do the challenge with her feet while laughing at the producers for doubting her.

Huge mistake for Tim and Te Jay - they should have left the flag challenge much sooner. It looked darn near impossible.

    Two other thoughts:

Amy's injury must really be getting bad for so much emphasis to be placed on it. Makes me think her team isn't long for the race, which is sad because they seem so down to earth.

And, Brooke needs to stop whining. It's really getting annoying.

I agree about Tim and Te Jay. I was sorry to see them get eliminated, especially as I'm sure they would have done fine with the armor-polishing task and could've beaten somebody out in that. Guess they just figured Tim had to just get one more flag, and if he did, it would've been quicker. That turned out to be a big/impossible "if," though, even though he grabbed the yellow one pretty quickly.

I thought Adam and Bethany played that leg well, and were smart to use the express pass they had at this time. There's not too much farther to go in the race, anyway, and they seem to be doing well. Thanks to the pass, they seemed to get to the pit stop quite a bit ahead of the second-place dentists, and that should, hopefully, give them a bit of a head start at the beginning of the next leg (although I guess everybody will probably catch up at an airport or train station, anyway, so maybe it won't matter, I don't know). But I doubt either of them could have completed the flag challenge, and Bethany might have been slowed, at least a little bit, at the polishing task. So, good decision/timing by them.

I'm assuming the final task will be some kind of pit-stop bird identification challenge.
