Pathetic, just pathetic, attempt by the cheerleader. Seriously, you would have to be sub-60 IQ not to get that one done quicker.

I agree, SpeedTchr. That water must have been completely dark, or else, Krista must have been blinded by all the lights/special effects, or something. Or, she was just a poor swimmer who was afraid to go too far down underwater (although it didn't look like the gold fish was too far down, anyway.

It's funny because when Justin and Diana were traveling to their task, I actually said to the other person in our TV room , "I think they just got on the wrong ferry."

When their penalty came up, it brought that back, and I was definitely kind of hoping for the cheerleaders to actually catch up and pass the Green Team while the latter could only sit and do nothing about it. Their elimination no doubt would have been one of the most epic moments ever seen on the show.

She kept saying that the bubbles made it hard to see underwater. (Diana said the same thing in the taxi that she could barely see underwater).

I would have another issue - I wear contacts. Can't see without them. Didn't look like they were allowed swim goggles. As soon as they went to the wrong ferry, I was like...they're gonna get in troooooouble.

Justin is the type of guy who shaves his head and wears that Kangol hat so he can pretend he's the white LL Cool J.

    JUSTICE.

(I fully anticipate to see Justin and Diana on an All-Stars edition very soon.)

I have the feeling that if Justin and Diana had managed to keep their cab at the firefighting challenge - which was BADASS - they would have won.

I really liked the fact that they staggered the memory challenges. (Also, anyone else notice that there was a very clear note on the flag challenge that said NO NOTES OF ANY KIND?) But anyone who comes on this Race and doesn't study every single thing about the countries they visit while they're having downtime in airports and hotels is stupid at this point. They've quizzed teams on everything from little things they've ridden on during the Race to the greeters at the mat to currency to flags. You need to know a lot about your countries.

    Final pool:
*Huggy - Justin and Diana 140
*bumpy mcgee - Tanner and Josh 72
Wenders - Kelsey and Joey 65
*Write Thinking - Denise and James Earl 54
*MTM - Logan and Chris 54
    *Iron_Chet - Tiffany and Krista 34
*WolvEagle - Cindy and Rick 28
*TigerVols - Jazmine and Danielle 22
    *Ernest and Jin 8
    *Alex and Adam 7
    *Shavonne and Kelly 1

    CONGRATS HUGGY!

That was a fun ending! Some redemption after endless Justin & Diana. Good challenges, nice memory tests.

May not watch the next season, after seeing every previous one. Just can't stomach the idea of "viral stars" fighting for camera time.

Great finale, as mentioned, loved the staggered memory challenges, fun mix of physical and mental.

Awesome ro see Justin lose. If I never see his simpering, crying face again on the show I would be very pleased.

    That was a great ending.

Did everybody see how happy all the other teams waiting at the final mat for the winners were when it turned out not to be Justin and Diana coming around the bend?

That was a good finale, and ended up being very close. Just when I was saying to myself how nice those chairs were, there'd be something found wrong with them. :)

Kelsey and Joey must have been dying, seeing their lead keep getting eaten into by their having to re-do parts of the chairs, and hoping against hope that Justin and Diana didn't finish theirs in the meantime.

And that was so epically classic that not one, but two, teams ended up screwed by the taxi-travel aspect in the final leg. That is so typical, and usually the greatest challenge, among all the challenges, that teams run into on The Amazing Race.

Loved the finale too, great to see Kelsey and Joey win.

Nice to finish on top here even if that guy was totally insufferable. Will look forward to defending my title next season!

The Amazing Race: Social Media Hipsters edition (I kid, but that's what it should be called) starts in a month (Feb 12). There's 11 teams. Who wants in the pool? I'd really like to make it so we have 11 people in the pool to match up with 11 teams (and not just because I keep getting the early-eliminated teams), so if you know others who used to be involved, see if you can entice them back.

I'm a fairly social media savvy person, but I'm not a teenager, so the result is I've heard of 2 of these people. So it kinda is almost like the usual format...I haven't heard of any of those people either. :p

Anyway, lots of notice to join the pool because my life is insane right now, so the more advance notice the better. :p

I'm in. Hopefully I won't get a team I hate again, like the paparazzi
