I would have been miserable at the Russian leaders one. MISERABLE. But I'd like to think I'd have figured out the time zones. The short amount of time you got to see the cities on the map would have fucked me, though.

SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T WATCHED YET:

Sorry to see James and Abba go. Felt inevitable, but I'll be damned if they didn't give it all they've got. They just weren't diligent enough, between dropping their cash and then leaving their bags in the cab.

Who would have thought after the first leg the Chippendales would not just still be around, but near the top, and winning a leg?

I don't understand why the Twinnies would use the express pass when there were so many teams behind them, plus one that had to do a speed bump?

    Seems like they wasted it.

It was the last week they could use it.

That Russian teacher was a hoot. He looked like he really was enjoying being so strict, then bluffing the racers when they were right.

I'm guessing that James and Abba didn't even do those two tasks. There was no point. Sad to see them go, though - they seemed like such cool guys.

I never would have thought that I'd like them. I loved how they had fun with the map challenge.

I swear, if my team gets any dumber, Texas should retroactively void their degrees.

Interesting tactic by the Chippendales and Trey/Lexi. Now I get why it was so important that the team who got there first U-Turn Ryan and Abbie. Otherwise, I think we would have been bidding farewell to the Beekmans. Abbie and Ryan got so much more tolerable when they were racing with the Beekmans and things weren't going their way. I feel for them because I can't remember another team being jobbed so much by travel complications.

I know it is all part of the game, and of course I'm slightly bitter since Abbie & Ryan were my team, but that was such a dick move by Trey & Lexi to U-Turn the Chippendales even though the Chippendales had already been through and U-Turned Abbie & Ryan.

Again, they were my team, but I feel bad for Abbie & Ryan. They caught a ton of bad breaks the last few weeks.

Once they were the team that was racing for $2M, they had the target. They couldn't have any mess-ups, and they did. It's what happens.

Trey and Lexi weren't targeting the Chippendales - they did it to ensure that Abbie and Ryan would have to do the U-Turn and not the Beekman Boys, guaranteeing that the stronger of those two teams would be eliminated. It was a strategic, smart move. They knew that the Chippendales already had been past that point.

Karma caught up to Abbie and Ryan for being such jerks early on. Maybe karma will catch up with the twinnies, though there isn't much time left for that.
