Karma caught up with Abbie and Ryan for being jerks up until the bitter end. Early in this episode, Ryan was being snarky about the Beekman boys being weak players they could crush so would stay in through this leg. Even at the end, Ryan did not get it. He blamed the Chppendales for taking $2 mm away from them. Their own freaking decisions took that money away from them. That's the way things go with this game - you never know which flight will be delayed, car will have a flat, cab driver will have no sense of direction. Sore fucking losers.

I shouldn't, but I think I've forgiven the Twinnies and love them again. I'd be happy with any of the last four winning.

LOVE THE TWINNIES! Maybe it's because I'm annoying too, but I want to be their best friend. :D

I am going to enjoy my last week of being in the pool. My team will finish in the top five and yet not finish in the top five. Nice.

There are three rules to the Amazing Race:

A-Read every word of the clue.
B-Keep track of your passport at all times.
C-Know how to drive a stick-shift BEFORE you start the race.

And yet, every season, we have at least one team get on the Race and then they're flabbergasted when they get in a car with a standard transmission. COME ON, PEOPLE, HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN THIS SHOW BEFORE?

I knew it was going to be non-elim when Trey and Lexi showed up and Phil didn't say they would be one of the teams racing for a million. Also, TWO-HOUR FINALE NEXT WEEK, woot woot!

It has to be said that this is the first pool that I've ever been in any sort of contention in this late in the season. Either IJAG is getting better at picking my teams or my team just missed the memo that they were supposed to flame out three legs in.

Several really cool moments from last night's show:

    1. When the three teams realized their plan to foil Ryan and Abby worked when they saw the Beekman Boys.

    2. How the three teams got to just hang out, have fun and enjoy each others' company at the beach.

    3. How the Beekman Boy who had the bad ankle (dang, I'm bad at names) overcame the ankle injury to finish the tennis challenge. Once he focused, it all came together - that was really cool to see.

    Agreed on all three. :)

That being said, it would have pissed me off less had Nadiya shown up and been like "oh no, I didn't think to learn how to drive a stick!" She SIGNED UP FOR THE CLASS AND QUIT AFTER ONE BECAUSE IT SEEMED EASY.

I wanted to punch her in her face.

I could have thought of better ways to spend a free day in Barcelona than at the beach. Though maybe they didn't have any cash to do anything else.

It would have helped if they had stuck with the tennis lessons, too.

I'm enjoying the thought of Abby & Ryan watching these at home while brooding.
