    I'd add:

That was the worst. Wasn't it for Final 3?

Yup...but then the team (Kisha and Jen) went on to win All-Stars so I don't feel too sorry for them.

Fuck those two and their cop jargon and their fucking code and alliances. They have become very annoying and unlikeable. Tough to root against Mark and Bopper even if I find they both need subtitles.

Man, my team - Mark and Bopper - stayed in it. Wow. Those guys are like the energizer bunnies. Early in the show, Phil said that a team would be eliminated, but obviously things were different at the mat. I wonder if the producers decided to move up a nonelimination leg to that episode just because of Mark and Bopper's tenacity and character. Makes you wonder.

Oh, and Huggy, I agree with you. I started out liking Art and JJ. Not anymore.

The same team saved for a second time?

I smell a rat; I bet Art and JJ will too...and I really hate to be on the same side as those whiners.

The rat I smelled was how Bopper was telling Mark to quit and they'd go home. Said it wasn't worth it to keep going. Mark gets to the tent to change clothes and suddenly Bopper is saying "One more try." I think the producers or the Indian film crew said if he just tried it again, they'd give him the clue.

Not that I care, because I'm hoping they win.

No, Phil said "may be eliminated," as he almost always does, and no, the producers did not fudge a non-elimination leg, which are all pre-determined. The dance task did suffer from horribly inconsistent judging, however.

Did anyone else think it was just painful to watch?

While I haven't watched every season of the Race, it seems like by now you'd have a fan favorite, that was also dominating.

That hasn't been the case this season. The two best teams — Art and JJ, Dave and what's her name? — are winning big, but not making friends along the way. No Globetrotters or Cowboys this season, but the HD has been glorious.

Just curious, but how do you know this?

The producers (which include Phil Keoghan) have confirmed it numerous times in interviews. The legs and tasks are plotted and tested well in advance. Additionally, given that the Race is completed well before it ever airs, there's no way for the producers to know for sure who's going to be a "fan favorite" and fudge the Race accordingly. That's just begging for a lawsuit.

Lastly, Major Dave's wife is blond Rachel. I find them to be the least objectionable of the likely winners.

Last night had the always sad "Phil meets them in the middle of the a challenge to say it's over" or the "Go directly to the pit stop" finieshes.
Once they kept going to the driving task, my wife blurted out 'It's a non-elimination.'
