    Sounds like a communist plot.

Must not have wanted to compete with the NIT quarterfinals.

Sepinwall tweeted "I think Sandy disrupted production and this is how they're catching up"

After Mrs. W's initial reluctance to add a new series, we finally jumped in a couple of weeks ago and are caught up. Great show and I almost wish that it had an announced limited run of a 2-3 seasons. The three leads are going to be nominated for Emmys and it wouldn't shock me if Keri Russell beats out Claire Danes.

The show has entered my top 5 of dramas still on TV:

    1(a). Mad Men
    1(b). Breaking Bad
    3. Treme
    4. The Americans
    5. Homeland

Great job by FX screwing up the timing of their shows so DVRs stopped recording before the final minute of last night's episode. Reading the comments in Sepinwall's blog, I'm not the only one who had the issue. Devote an hour to a show only to have to run to a blog post to find out the ending? Fuck you, FX.

Yeah, I don't know how that happened. Most shows even if they are slated to go a few minutes past the hour the DVR records it all. I was fortunate that when I got done watching it last night my TV was still tuned to FX, so I was able to rewind the Justified rerun and watch the last minute of the Americans.

At least four times so far my DVR has "skipped" or garbled on significant portions of the show. Maybe it's my DVR, but it never happens on other shows. Now this.

I think they're being sons of bitches trying to boost their OnDemand numbers.

    We lost the ending, too.

Great start to the episode, but I didn't care much for it.

Also, I'm still confused about the timeline of this show. How much time has elapsed since the first episode.
I keep thinking it's been about six months, but Amador is already decorating his apartment with framed pictures of Stan.

If the these events have been unfolding over a longer period of time, they should do a better job of making that apparent. It would also explain some of what comes across as the bebop peaks and valleys of Elizabeth and Phillip's relationship.

Watched it live. . . great ending.

It is interesting that at this point, the Russians are being portrayed as more sympathetic than the Americans (barely. . . it is pretty even with both sides being pretty devious).

I always set my DVR to record two minutes before and two minutes after and I STILL lost about the last three minutes. Had to go to FX.com to see the ending.

But wow. Shit just got real.

Hulu has The Americans, including this week's episode.
